Evolution of  Twisted Sisters' Designs:

Established in 2007
The "Sisters" were creating a twisted wire bracelet, AND dirinking a little wine, when one person declared, as she was trying to untangle her wire, "We're just very twisted", thus we became the twisted sisters and the three of us established a partnership and have been going strong ever since, creating unique and one-of-a-kind designs.

Orignially built as a blacksmith shop in 1911, this adobe building in historic downtown Mesa is now home to our working studio and gallery.

Come visit us and peruse our original designs.

We hope to see you soon!

Debra has created this open bangle bracelet from 6 gauge copper wire that she annealed (heated to a very high temperature) and hammered several times before being able to form it into a bracelet. She then riveted brass upholstery tacks to the ends of the bracelet.  For embellishment, she coiled and spiraled sterling silver wire around it.

These fun rings are made from pieces of copper wire that are soldered together and then wrapped around the stone to secure it. The stones in the picture are from the beaches of Martha's Vineyard; the one in the upper left corner is dichroic glass, which adds color to the setting. If you have a favorite stone or piece of fused glass, Mary can encase it in copper or silver. Just give her a call.
